Georgia coach Willy Sagnol has revealed his son is a big fan of Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo, who is one of the Euro 2024 football group stage opponents.

    Georgia are in Group F along with Portugal, Turkey and the Czech Republic and despite being considered the underdogs. Sagnol insists his team will give it their all to compete with them. Adding that his son is a huge Ronaldo fan and it would be very special to face them.UFABET 

“One of my sons, I believe he is as big a Cristiano Ronaldo fan as anyone in the world.” Sagnol told UEFA’s website.

    “So I know that playing against Portugal would make my son very happy and that’s great for me as a father. But it will be a very difficult group because Portugal is a top team in Europe.”

    “Turkey has been outstanding in recent years, they have young and very talented players. The Czech Republic has had great players throughout their history and has participated in many big tournaments.”

    “And finally, we, Georgia, come into the tournament with no one to care about. What is certain is that whether we play Portugal, the Czech Republic or Turkey, we will never give up and will give everything we have.”
